This price was achieved in the auction Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy at Christies in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 100,000.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Shang Rui have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Landscapes After Yuan Masters in November 2015 with an auction result of HKD 2,200,000.00 (€ 268,699.11).

Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy bei Christies in Hong Kong erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 100.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Shang Rui auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Landscapes After Yuan Masters im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.200.000,00 (€ 268.699,11).
