Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Shang Rui achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in Hong Kong in April this year. In the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Landscape sold for HKD 144,000.00 (€ 147,052.17) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 60,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Shang Rui; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Landscapes After Yuan Masters sold at auction in November 2015 with the realized price of HKD 2,200,000.00 (€ 268,699.11).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Shang Rui erzielte im April diesen Jahres bei China Guardian in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Landscape für HKD 144.000,00 (€ 147.052,17) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 60.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Shang Rui; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Landscapes After Yuan Masters im November 2015 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 2.200.000,00 (€ 268.699,11).
