Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Landscapes after Old Masters by Shang Rui was sold in the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction at Christies in Hong Kong in December 2008. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 120,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 125,000.00 (€ 11,584.88). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Shang Rui achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscapes After Yuan Masters in November 2015 with an auction result of HKD 2,200,000.00 (€ 268,699.11).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Landscapes after Old Masters von Shang Rui wurde im Dezember 2008 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 120.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 125.000,00 (€ 11.584,88) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Shang Rui erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscapes After Yuan Masters im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.200.000,00 (€ 268.699,11).
