Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (from the Qajar series) by Shadi Ghadirian was auctioned at Christies in Dubai in October 2013. It changed hands for a price of USD 7,500.00 (€ 5,517.14) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Shadi Ghadirian have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Like Everyday in April 2010 with an auction result of USD 37,500.00 (€ 28,191.25).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (from the Qajar series) von Shadi Ghadirian kam im Oktober 2013 bei Christies in Dubai zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 7.500,00 (€ 5.517,14) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Shadi Ghadirian auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Like Everyday im April 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 37.500,00 (€ 28.191,25).
