Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Divine Comedy by Sha Qi was auctioned at POLY in Hong Kong in October 2017. It changed hands for a price of HKD 259,600.00 (€ 28,572.05) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 180,000.00 – 260,000.00. Admittedly, works by Sha Qi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Horses In The Forest in April 2014 with an auction result of HKD 1,480,000.00 (€ 137,649.60).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Divine Comedy von Sha Qi kam im Oktober 2017 bei POLY in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 259.600,00 (€ 28.572,05) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 180.000,00 – 260.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sha Qi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Horses In The Forest im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.480.000,00 (€ 137.649,60).
