Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Reclining Nude by Sha Qi was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2015. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 80,000.00 – 160,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 100,000.00 (€ 12,213.60) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sha Qi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Horses In The Forest in April 2014 with an auction result of HKD 1,480,000.00 (€ 137,649.60).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Reclining Nude von Sha Qi kam im November 2015 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 80.000,00 – 160.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 100.000,00 (€ 12.213,60) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sha Qi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Horses In The Forest im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.480.000,00 (€ 137.649,60).
