Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2017 POLY in Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Life Journey by Sha Qi. It changed hands for a price of HKD 236,000.00 (€ 25,974.59) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 150,000.00 – 250,000.00. Admittedly, works by Sha Qi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Horses In The Forest in April 2014 with an auction result of HKD 1,480,000.00 (€ 137,649.60).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2017 führte POLY in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Life Journey von Sha Qi zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 236.000,00 (€ 25.974,59) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 150.000,00 – 250.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sha Qi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Horses In The Forest im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.480.000,00 (€ 137.649,60).
