Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Scenery of a Pond by Sha Qi was sold in the Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2013. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 250,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 275,000.00 (€ 26,073.06). Admittedly, works by Sha Qi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Horses In The Forest in April 2014 with an auction result of HKD 1,480,000.00 (€ 137,649.60).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Scenery of a Pond von Sha Qi wurde im November 2013 in der Auktion Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 250.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 275.000,00 (€ 26.073,06) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sha Qi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Horses In The Forest im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.480.000,00 (€ 137.649,60).
