Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Pionnier, 2019 by Seth was sold in the Limited Editions and Artists' Jewellery auction at Bonhams in London in June this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 400.00 – 600.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 448.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Seth achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sans Titre - 2016 in November 2019 with an auction result of EUR 15,600.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Pionnier, 2019 von Seth wurde im Juni diesen Jahres in der Auktion Limited Editions and Artists' Jewellery bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 400,00 – 600,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 448,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Seth erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sans Titre - 2016 im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 15.600,00.
