Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Relief No. 302) by Sérgio de Camargo was sold in the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction at Sothebys in London in February 2020. The price achieved of GBP 300,000.00 (€ 347,700.68) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 250,000.00 – 350,000.00. Admittedly, works by Sérgio de Camargo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (Relief No. 21/52) in November 2013 with an auction result of USD 2,165,000.00 (€ 1,591,209.76).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Relief No. 302) von Sérgio de Camargo wurde im Februar 2020 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 300.000,00 (€ 347.700,68) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 250.000,00 – 350.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sérgio de Camargo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (Relief No. 21/52) im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.165.000,00 (€ 1.591.209,76).
