Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Route/ Road diamètre: 98 cm (38 9/16 in). sans cadre by Sergei Shablavin was auctioned at Bonhams in Paris in January 2024. The price achieved of EUR 6,400.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Sergei Shablavin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Russian Winter, 1981 in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 67,000.00 (€ 43,037.00).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Route/ Road diamètre: 98 cm (38 9/16 in). sans cadre von Sergei Shablavin kam im Januar 2024 bei Bonhams in Paris zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 6.400,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sergei Shablavin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Russian Winter, 1981 im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 67.000,00 (€ 43.037,00).
