Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Sergej Jensen was auctioned at Sothebys in London in March 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 30,000.00 – 40,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 32,500.00 (€ 37,721.77) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Sergej Jensen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in May 2013 with an auction result of USD 262,500.00 (€ 202,109.64).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Sergej Jensen kam im März 2019 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 32.500,00 (€ 37.721,77) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sergej Jensen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 262.500,00 (€ 202.109,64).
