Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Walk Through The Woods In Autumn by Sergei Arsenievich Vinogradov was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2013. The price achieved of GBP 49,875.00 (€ 58,213.06) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sergei Arsenievich Vinogradov achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work View Of The Pechera Monastery in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 513,300.00 (€ 718,752.80).
