The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 9,483.33) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Sergei Petrovich Ivanov have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait of two young girls with dolls in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 31,700.00 (€ 44,388.20).

Die Arbeit A Group Of Four Landscapes With Nudes von Sergei Petrovich Ivanov kam im Juni 2013 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 8.125,00 (€ 9.483,33) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sergei Petrovich Ivanov auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portrait of two young girls with dolls im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 31.700,00 (€ 44.388,20).
