The result of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 12,160.93) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sergei Petrovich Ivanov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait of two young girls with dolls, which sold at auction in November 2007 for GBP 31,700.00 (€ 44,388.20).

Die Arbeit Woman with a beauty-spot von Sergei Petrovich Ivanov wurde im Juni 2010 in der Auktion Russian Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 12.160,93) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Sergei Petrovich Ivanov mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Portrait of two young girls with dolls beobachtet, die im November 2007 für GBP 31.700,00 (€ 44.388,20) versteigert wurde.
