Auction result well in line with expectations

In October 2012 Artcurial held the auction Contemporary Art, which included the work Composition, 1958 by Serge Rezvani. The price achieved of EUR 515.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 400.00 – 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Serge Rezvani achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Composition, 1949 in December 2007 with an auction result of EUR 7,435.00.

Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen

Im Oktober 2012 führte Artcurial die Auktion Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Composition, 1958 von Serge Rezvani zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 515,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 400,00 – 600,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Serge Rezvani erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Composition, 1949 im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 7.435,00.
