Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

The work Composition, 1958 by Serge Rezvani was sold in the Contemporary Art auction at Artcurial in Paris in July 2010. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 2,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 2,295.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Serge Rezvani - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Composition, 1949, which sold at auction in December 2007 for EUR 7,435.00.

Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen

Die Arbeit Composition, 1958 von Serge Rezvani wurde im Juli 2010 in der Auktion Contemporary Art bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 2.200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 2.295,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Serge Rezvani mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Composition, 1949 beobachtet, die im Dezember 2007 für EUR 7.435,00 versteigert wurde.
