It achieved a price of GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,556.72), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Admittedly, works by Sergei Petrovich Ivanov have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait of two young girls with dolls in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 31,700.00 (€ 44,388.20).

Die Arbeit Four studies of female nudes von Sergei Petrovich Ivanov wurde im November 2008 in der Auktion Russian Pictures Including Post-War and Contemporary Art Part II bei Christies in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 6.250,00 (€ 7.556,72) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sergei Petrovich Ivanov auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portrait of two young girls with dolls im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 31.700,00 (€ 44.388,20).
