The work Sans titre - 1932 by Serge Brignoni was sold in the Impressionist & Modern Art auction at Artcurial in Paris in June this year. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 5,904.00 48% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Serge Brignoni have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Figure Surréaliste Surrealist Figure in May 2008 with an auction result of CHF 39,400.00 (€ 24,285.69).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 48 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Sans titre - 1932 von Serge Brignoni wurde im Juni diesen Jahres in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 5.904,00 und damit 48% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Serge Brignoni auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Figure Surréaliste Surrealist Figure im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 39.400,00 (€ 24.285,69).
