Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Serge Brignoni could be acquired at Christies in New York in November 2018 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Selections from the Israel Museum, Jerusalem Sold to Benefit the Acquisitions Fund auction, the work Conglomeration Petrification changed hands for USD 625.00 (€ 551.97) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Serge Brignoni achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Figure Surréaliste Surrealist Figure in May 2008 with an auction result of CHF 39,400.00 (€ 24,285.69).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Serge Brignoni konnte im November 2018 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Selections from the Israel Museum, Jerusalem Sold to Benefit the Acquisitions Fund wechselte die Arbeit Conglomeration Petrification für USD 625,00 (€ 551,97) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.200,00 – 1.800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Serge Brignoni erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Figure Surréaliste Surrealist Figure im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 39.400,00 (€ 24.285,69).
