Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Taking A Rest From The Bus Stop Series by Semyon Faibisovich was auctioned at Sothebys in London in June 2018. The price achieved of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 16,952.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Semyon Faibisovich achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work One More Glance at the Black Sea in December 2021 with an auction result of GBP 340,200.00 (€ 405,787.24).
