Auction result well in line with expectations
The work On the Streets of Moscow by Semyon Faibisovich was sold in the Post-War and Contemporary Russian Art from a Private Collection auction at Sothebys in London in December 2021. The price achieved of GBP 69,300.00 (€ 82,660.36) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Semyon Faibisovich have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work One More Glance at the Black Sea in December 2021 with an auction result of GBP 340,200.00 (€ 405,787.24).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit On the Streets of Moscow von Semyon Faibisovich wurde im Dezember 2021 in der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Russian Art from a Private Collection bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 69.300,00 (€ 82.660,36) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Semyon Faibisovich auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit One More Glance at the Black Sea im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 340.200,00 (€ 405.787,24).
