Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June 2009 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Contemporary Sale, which included the work Sausage Line by Semyon Faibisovich. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 60,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 67,250.00 (€ 78,915.62). Admittedly, works by Semyon Faibisovich have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work One More Glance at the Black Sea in December 2021 with an auction result of GBP 340,200.00 (€ 405,787.24).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni 2009 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Contemporary Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sausage Line von Semyon Faibisovich zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 60.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 67.250,00 (€ 78.915,62) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Semyon Faibisovich auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit One More Glance at the Black Sea im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 340.200,00 (€ 405.787,24).
