Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Georges Goursat could be acquired at Christies in New York in January 2014 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Interiors auction, the work Pour Le Triomphe Souscrivez À L'Emprunt National changed hands for USD 1,250.00 (€ 925.93) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Georges Goursat achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Monte-Carlo in November 2017 with an auction result of HKD 106,250.00 (€ 11,439.42).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Georges Goursat konnte im Januar 2014 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Interiors wechselte die Arbeit Pour Le Triomphe Souscrivez À L'Emprunt National für USD 1.250,00 (€ 925,93) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Georges Goursat erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Monte-Carlo im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 106.250,00 (€ 11.439,42).
