Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Monte Carlo Beach by Georges Goursat was auctioned at Christies in London in April 2012. It achieved a price of GBP 1,750.00 (€ 2,146.33), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. Admittedly, works by Georges Goursat have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Monte-Carlo in November 2017 with an auction result of HKD 106,250.00 (€ 11,439.42).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Monte Carlo Beach von Georges Goursat kam im April 2012 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 1.750,00 (€ 2.146,33) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Georges Goursat auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Monte-Carlo im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 106.250,00 (€ 11.439,42).
