The work Composition by Selim Turan was sold in the Contemporary Art auction at Artcurial in Paris in March 2010. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 11,476.00 43% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Selim Turan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Composition in June 2009 with an auction result of EUR 198,450.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 43 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Composition von Selim Turan wurde im März 2010 in der Auktion Contemporary Art bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 11.476,00 und damit 43% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Selim Turan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Composition im Juni 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 198.450,00.
