In March 2010 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Contemporary Art, which included the work Composition Grise by Selim Turan. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 21,450.00 43% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Selim Turan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Composition in June 2009 with an auction result of EUR 198,450.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 43 % übertroffen
Im März 2010 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Composition Grise von Selim Turan zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 21.450,00 und damit 43% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Selim Turan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Composition im Juni 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 198.450,00.
