The work 3 in 1 by Sean Shanahan was sold in the Forms in Color auction at Christies in New York in July 2014. The »bidding war« ended at USD 1,500.00 (€ 1,120.24), 25% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sean Shanahan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in October 2006 with an auction result of GBP 8,400.00 (€ 12,550.35).

Die Arbeit 3 in 1 von Sean Shanahan wurde im Juli 2014 in der Auktion Forms in Color bei Christies in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 1.500,00 (€ 1.120,24) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sean Shanahan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 8.400,00 (€ 12.550,35).
