A top price for Sean Shanahan
This artwork by Sean Shanahan achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in October 2006. In the Post War and Contemporary Irish Art auction, the work without title sold for GBP 8,400.00 (€ 12,550.35) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00. This high result makes the work without title the most expensive artwork by Sean Shanahan that we have observed at auctions so far.
