This artwork by Sara Rahbar achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Dubai in April 2011. In the Modern and Contemporary Arab, Iranian and Turkish Art auction, the work Flag #15 sold for USD 43,750.00 (€ 29,518.93) - well above the upper estimate of USD 25,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Sara Rahbar; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Iranianflag #11 Rescue Me From Who I Am And From What I Am Becoming sold at auction in October 2018 with the realized price of GBP 27,500.00 (€ 31,011.52).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Sara Rahbar erzielte im April 2011 bei Christies in Dubai einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Arab, Iranian and Turkish Art wurde die Arbeit Flag #15 für USD 43.750,00 (€ 29.518,93) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 25.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Sara Rahbar; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Iranianflag #11 Rescue Me From Who I Am And From What I Am Becoming im Oktober 2018 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 27.500,00 (€ 31.011,52).
