This artwork by Sanya Kantarovsky achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in London in March this year. In the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale auction, the work Panels sold for GBP 48,260.00 (€ 54,905.07) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Sanya Kantarovsky have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work No Eyes in October 2021 with an auction result of GBP 390,600.00 (€ 462,755.51).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Sanya Kantarovsky erzielte im März diesen Jahres bei Phillips in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale wurde die Arbeit Panels für GBP 48.260,00 (€ 54.905,07) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 20.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sanya Kantarovsky auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit No Eyes im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 390.600,00 (€ 462.755,51).
