Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May last year Phillips in New York held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session, which included the work Little Big Man by Sanya Kantarovsky. Here, the upper estimate of USD 60,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 60,480.00 (€ 56,360.08). Admittedly, works by Sanya Kantarovsky have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work No Eyes in October 2021 with an auction result of GBP 390,600.00 (€ 462,755.51).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai letzten Jahres führte Phillips in New York die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session durch, in der auch die Arbeit Little Big Man von Sanya Kantarovsky zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 60.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 60.480,00 (€ 56.360,08) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sanya Kantarovsky auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit No Eyes im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 390.600,00 (€ 462.755,51).
