The work Bud 5 by Sanya Kantarovsky was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale auction at Phillips in London in March this year. It achieved a price of GBP 165,100.00 (€ 187,833.14), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 38%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sanya Kantarovsky - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work No Eyes, which sold at auction in October 2021 for GBP 390,600.00 (€ 462,755.51).

Die Arbeit Bud 5 von Sanya Kantarovsky wurde im März diesen Jahres in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale bei Phillips in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 165.100,00 (€ 187.833,14) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 38%. Für andere Arbeiten von Sanya Kantarovsky mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit No Eyes beobachtet, die im Oktober 2021 für GBP 390.600,00 (€ 462.755,51) versteigert wurde.
