Auction result well in line with expectations
The work 'Inaugurazione Alla Tommaseo', 1977-78 by Sanja Ivekovic was auctioned at Sothebys in London in May 2018. The price achieved of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 6,832.39) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sanja Ivekovic - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Novi Zagreb (Ljudi Iza Prozora) (New Zagreb (People Behind The Windows)), which sold at auction in September 2015 for GBP 11,875.00 (€ 16,081.57).
