A top price for Sanford Roth - as previously expected
In February 2009 Christies in New York held the auction Icons of Glamour and Style: The Constantiner Collection Part II, which included the work Joan Crawford, c. 1954 by Sanford Roth. The price achieved of USD 1,875.00 (€ 1,480.81) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Joan Crawford, c. 1954 is the most expensive artwork by Sanford Roth that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Februar 2009 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Icons of Glamour and Style: The Constantiner Collection Part II durch, in der auch die Arbeit Joan Crawford, c. 1954 von Sanford Roth zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.875,00 (€ 1.480,81) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.500,00 – 2.500,00 angegeben worden.
