Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Sandú Darié was sold in the Post-War, Contemporary and Latin American Art Online auction at Bonhams in New York in March last year. The price achieved of USD 15,300.00 (€ 13,792.48) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Admittedly, works by Sandú Darié have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 125,000.00 (€ 118,348.80).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Sandú Darié wurde im März letzten Jahres in der Auktion Post-War, Contemporary and Latin American Art Online bei Bonhams in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 15.300,00 (€ 13.792,48) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sandú Darié auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 125.000,00 (€ 118.348,80).
