Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Sandú Darié could be acquired at Bonhams in New York in March last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Post-War, Contemporary and Latin American Art Online auction, this work without title changed hands for USD 3,187.50 (€ 2,873.43) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sandú Darié achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 125,000.00 (€ 118,348.80).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Sandú Darié konnte im März letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Post-War, Contemporary and Latin American Art Online wechselte diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 3.187,50 (€ 2.873,43) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sandú Darié erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 125.000,00 (€ 118.348,80).
