Auction result well in line with expectations
In March last year Bonhams in New York held the auction Post-War, Contemporary and Latin American Art Online, which included this untitled work by Sandú Darié. It changed hands for a price of USD 8,925.00 (€ 8,045.61) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 7,000.00 – 9,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sandú Darié achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 125,000.00 (€ 118,348.80).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in New York die Auktion Post-War, Contemporary and Latin American Art Online durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Sandú Darié zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 8.925,00 (€ 8.045,61) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 7.000,00 – 9.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sandú Darié erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 125.000,00 (€ 118.348,80).
