Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2013 Sothebys in London held the auction British & Irish Art, which included the work Primroses And Bluebells by Samuel Sidley. The price achieved of GBP 17,500.00 (€ 21,058.91) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Other works by Samuel Sidley have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2003 the work The challenge was auctioned for GBP 23,900.00 (€ 34,308.80).

Im November 2013 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion British & Irish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Primroses And Bluebells von Samuel Sidley zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 17.500,00 (€ 21.058,91) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden.
