A top price for Samuel Sidley - as previously expected
The work The challenge by Samuel Sidley was auctioned at Christies in London in November 2003. The price achieved of GBP 23,900.00 (€ 34,308.80) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, The challenge is the most expensive artwork by Samuel Sidley that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit The challenge von Samuel Sidley kam im November 2003 bei Christies in London zur Auktion.
