This artwork by Samuel Buri achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Zurich in May 2016. In the Swiss Art auction, the work Das Alpenhorn, 1966 sold for CHF 21,600.00 (€ 19,526.32) - well above the upper estimate of CHF 12,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Samuel Buri; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Studie Zu "Le Parasol" sold at auction in December 2018 with the realized price of CHF 32,500.00 (€ 28,851.69).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 80 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Samuel Buri erzielte im Mai 2016 bei Christies in Zürich einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Swiss Art wurde die Arbeit Das Alpenhorn, 1966 für CHF 21.600,00 (€ 19.526,32) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von CHF 12.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Samuel Buri; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Studie Zu "Le Parasol" im Dezember 2018 mit dem Hammerpreis von CHF 32.500,00 (€ 28.851,69).
