The work Inosen (Innocent) by Samsul Arifin was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2011. It achieved a price of HKD 87,500.00 (€ 7,604.08), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Samsul Arifin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Terapung di Laut Asia (Floating in the Asian Ocean) in May 2011 with an auction result of HKD 920,000.00 (€ 82,298.27).

Die Arbeit Inosen (Innocent) von Samsul Arifin kam im April 2011 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 87.500,00 (€ 7.604,08) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Samsul Arifin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Terapung di Laut Asia (Floating in the Asian Ocean) im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 920.000,00 (€ 82.298,27).
