Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Lebanese untitled by Samir Sayegh was auctioned at Sothebys in London in October 2017. The price achieved of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 17,102.94) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Other works by Samir Sayegh have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March last year the work Noon was auctioned for GBP 18,900.00 (€ 22,408.08).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 17.102,94) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Samir Sayegh konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im März letzten Jahres die Arbeit Noon für GBP 18.900,00 (€ 22.408,08) versteigert.
