Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Lattice, Topanga, Ca, Jacobean) by Sam Falls was auctioned at Sothebys in London in July 2018. The price achieved of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 6,727.32) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Sam Falls have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Every Season, All Weather in November last year with an auction result of USD 50,400.00 (€ 48,823.02).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Lattice, Topanga, Ca, Jacobean) von Sam Falls kam im Juli 2018 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.000,00 (€ 6.727,32) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sam Falls auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Every Season, All Weather im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 50.400,00 (€ 48.823,02).
