Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2012 a collector was able to acquire the work Somale by Salvatore Fiume for EUR 350.00. This price was achieved in the auction Arte Moderna e Contemporanea at Il Ponte and was even below the estimate range of EUR 400.00 – 500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Salvatore Fiume achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cavalli di pietra in May this year with an auction result of EUR 20,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2012 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Somale von Salvatore Fiume für EUR 350,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Arte Moderna e Contemporanea bei Il Ponte erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 400,00 – 500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Salvatore Fiume erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cavalli di pietra im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 20.000,00.
