However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Salvatore Fiume - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Cavalli di pietra, which sold at auction in May this year for EUR 20,000.00.

Die Arbeit Senza Titolo von Salvatore Fiume kam im November 2013 bei Sothebys in Mailand zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 8.125,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 35 %. Für andere Arbeiten von Salvatore Fiume mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Cavalli di pietra beobachtet, die im Mai diesen Jahres für EUR 20.000,00 versteigert wurde.
