It achieved a price of EUR 2,000.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 67 %. Admittedly, works by Salvatore Fiume have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Cavalli di pietra in May this year with an auction result of EUR 20,000.00.

Die Arbeit Profilo di donna von Salvatore Fiume wurde im Juni 2015 in der Auktion Arte Moderna e Contemporanea bei Il Ponte versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 2.000,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 67 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Salvatore Fiume auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Cavalli di pietra im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 20.000,00.
