Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Salvatore Fiume could be acquired at Il Ponte in June 2014 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern and Contemporary Art auction, the work Isola di pietra changed hands for EUR 1,000.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 1,200.00 – 1,600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Salvatore Fiume achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cavalli di pietra in May this year with an auction result of EUR 20,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Salvatore Fiume konnte im Juni 2014 bei Il Ponte für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art wechselte die Arbeit Isola di pietra für EUR 1.000,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.200,00 – 1.600,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Salvatore Fiume erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cavalli di pietra im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 20.000,00.
