Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Salvador Corratgé was sold in the Post-War & Contemporary Art auction at Bonhams in New York in May last year. It changed hands for a price of USD 19,125.00 (€ 17,822.20) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Salvador Corratgé - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in November 2016 for USD 43,750.00 (€ 41,359.43).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Salvador Corratgé wurde im Mai letzten Jahres in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art bei Bonhams in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 19.125,00 (€ 17.822,20) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Salvador Corratgé mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im November 2016 für USD 43.750,00 (€ 41.359,43) versteigert wurde.
