In December 2019 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Masters Day Sale, which included the work River Landscape With Figures In Rowing Boats, And Fishermen Hauling A Net In The Foreground by Salomon van Ruysdael. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 131,250.00 (€ 155,122.14), 64% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Salomon van Ruysdael achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Wijdschip And Other Small Dutch Vessels At The Mouth Of An Estuary in January 2015 with an auction result of USD 3,077,000.00 (€ 2,725,420.73).

Im Dezember 2019 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Masters Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit River Landscape With Figures In Rowing Boats, And Fishermen Hauling A Net In The Foreground von Salomon van Ruysdael zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 131.250,00 (€ 155.122,14) und damit 64% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Salomon van Ruysdael erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Wijdschip And Other Small Dutch Vessels At The Mouth Of An Estuary im Januar 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 3.077.000,00 (€ 2.725.420,73).
